Garbage and Recycling

The Town of Latchford provides regular garbage collection services to help keep our community clean, safe, and environmentally responsible.

In September 2025, GFL began providing recycling collection for the residents of the Town of Latchford.

Working Together

Proper waste management is a shared responsibility. By sorting waste, following the collection schedule, and using the landfill appropriately, residents help keep Latchford a clean and healthy community.

Household waste is collected regularly as outlined in the collection schedule. To ensure efficient service:

Place garbage at the curb on your scheduled collection day
Use appropriate garbage bags or containers
Ensure materials are securely tied and contained
Do not place hazardous or prohibited materials in regular garbage

2026 Waste & Recycling Collection Schedule

Recycling helps reduce landfill waste and supports environmental sustainability. Recycling is collected on scheduled days separate from garbage collection.

Residents are encouraged to:

Separate recyclable materials from household waste
Rinse and clean containers where possible
Follow accepted material guidelines (if applicable)

GFL's 2026 Recycling Guide for the Town of Latchford

The Town of Latchford owns and operates a municipal landfill site for additional waste disposal needs.

📍 Location: Paige Road (after the bridge on the left)

The landfill is available for residents to dispose of materials that may not be collected during regular curbside pickup.

The Town of Latchford Landfill is open every Saturday
