Administration

The Administration Department is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of municipal operations and the delivery of essential services to the community. Staff ensure that the Town functions efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with provincial legislation, Council direction, and established municipal policies.

Latchford’s administrative team consists of a CAO/Clerk‑Treasurer and a Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer, who work collaboratively to support Council, manage municipal business, and provide services to residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Administration Department oversees a wide range of municipal services, including:

  • Tax administration and property assessment coordination

  • Financial management and budgeting

  • Records and information management

  • Legislative compliance and by-law administration

  • Procurement and contract management

  • Grant applications and funding administration

  • Customer service and public inquiries

  • Support for Council and committee meetings

These services ensure that the Town operates responsibly, transparently, and in the best interests of the community.
