The Waterfront Strategic Plan Ad Hoc Committee is established by Council to provide guidance, input, and community perspective in the development of a Waterfront Strategic Plan for the Town of Latchford.
The Committee’s role is advisory in nature and intended to support Council and staff by helping identify opportunities, priorities, and recommendations related to waterfront development, recreation, economic growth, and community use.
The Committee shall:
- Assist in shaping the vision, goals, and guiding principles for the Town’s waterfront.
- Provide input on potential land use, amenities, infrastructure needs, and community programming.
- Engage community perspectives and relay feedback to Council.
- Review draft materials related to the Waterfront Strategic Plan.
- Provide recommendations to Council through staff.
- Support staff in identifying funding opportunities and partnerships where appropriate.
The Committee does not have decision-making authority. All final decisions remain with Council.
