Annual Budget

Municipal Budget

Every year, the Town of Latchford prepares and adopts a municipal budget to ensure the community has the resources needed to provide essential services, maintain infrastructure, and plan for future needs.

Section 290 of the Municipal Act, 2001 states that a municipality shall prepare and adopt estimates for all sums required during the year, including revenues and expenditures. This process helps ensure municipalities remain financially responsible and transparent while delivering services residents rely on.

The annual budget acts as a roadmap for the Town's priorities and investments. It outlines how municipal revenues will be used to support day-to-day operations, long-term planning, and capital projects that benefit the community.
